Voice Announcement Feature

DotBlue.png Unique Voice Announcement (audio prompts) can be designed to indicate to the radio-user, upon a zone change or a channel change, the radio's change to a new zone and a change to a new channel, and...the On or Off status change of certain radio features. Therefore, when the radio-user is changing the radio's zone or channel to a zone or channel having an audio file assigned, these audio prompts automatically play. The Voice Announcement feature allows you to convert, import, and assign these unique audio announcements to each of the radio's zones and channels, and to these other radio features. A DotRed.png Channel Announcement button-press also allows the radio-user to hear the current channel's audio announcement whenever needed.

DotYellow.png The Voice Announcement Utilities also provide the means for converting and importing the audio files used by Site Selectable Alerts.

DotYellow.png The CPS limits the total duration of all voice / audio files (including Site Selectable Alerts) collectively to 1000 seconds and the maximum number of voice files to 1000 or 2000 files, depending on the radio model / option. Individual voice files have a maximum duration of 3 seconds.
